Generative AI Workshops for Small Groups

In a HumanisNG small group workshop, eight to twenty people learn to use the same generative AI tools side by side, each on their own device, while a vetted, background-checked Technologist leads hands-on learning. We offer these workshops through clubs, community organizations, and senior living communities, and for groups of friends who want to work together. You put artificial intelligence to work on tasks from your daily life, starting from wherever you are.

What a Small Group AI Workshop Looks Like

One Technologist teaches each workshop to a group of eight to twenty people, using Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini. You bring a real task from an everyday situation, such as a doctor’s letter, a question about a financial statement, or a message to a grandchild or another family member. Then the Technologist shows you how to put the tool to work on it.

Small group workshops are one of the three formats in our in-person AI training programs, along with in-home 1-on-1 sessions and programs for organizations. All three use the same HumanisNG approach.

Bringing a Workshop to Your Club or Community

We start by scheduling a short intro call to plan a workshop with your club or community. On that call, we ask what your group wants AI to help with. We assume nothing about what anyone already knows, and we answer your questions about pace, price, and format.

Anyone in the group who would rather learn at home, one-on-one, can take our in-home AI courses.

A workshop lets you learn alongside others in your group, each of you working on your own device, while the Technologist leads. When the workshop ends, the AI tool stays on your device, ready for you to practice the new skills.

Every Technologist Is Vetted and Background-Checked

We hire highly experienced Technologists for their technical skill and their ability to teach clients at every level. Becoming a Technologist means being vetted and background-checked, with no exceptions, and completing training in the HumanisNG method before the first session. Character, patience, and trust are paramount in every Technologist and in everyone who works at HumanisNG. We take no fees or commissions from the AI companies whose tools we use and have no product to push, so the Technologist recommends the tool that fits the tasks that matter to you.

The HumanisNG Standard puts our five promises in writing, including that every session is led by a vetted person who is accountable by name.

Small Group Workshops FAQ

Will the Technologist be patient with beginners?

Yes. Our Technologists are patient, in-person teachers who sit beside you and explain each step in plain language. Many of them come from education backgrounds.

No. Our courses are designed for non-technical adults, and you need no experience to join. A workshop begins with opening the AI tool on your own device, and the Technologist starts wherever you are.

A workshop is built on real tasks from the lives of the people in it, because people keep using skills learned on real tasks long after the workshop ends. Learning to spot a scam and knowing what never to share is also one of the starting tasks we name for our in-home course.

Pricing depends on the format, the group size, and the scope. Small group workshops are priced differently from in-home sessions and organizational programs. We walk you through pricing on your intro call.
