AI Training FAQs: Answers About Learning AI With HumanisNG

HumanisNG teaches people to use generative AI, the kind of artificial intelligence that answers your questions, summarizes and synthesizes information, and organizes a plan of action, at work and at home. Our Technologists work with individuals in their homes, small groups of eight to twenty, and teams of 10 to 100 at organizations. These AI training FAQs answer the questions people ask us most about learning AI, how our courses run, what they cost, and how we train organizations.

General Questions About AI

People usually start with what AI literacy means, which tools we teach, which one to use, whether it is safe, and how soon they can use it.

What is AI literacy?

AI literacy is the ability to use AI tools well and with good judgment. At HumanisNG, you learn to write a clear prompt and to connect your AI assistant to the accounts, programs, and files you already use. You also learn why it sometimes answers incorrectly and how to check an answer before you act on it. Knowing when to trust an answer and when to check it is half the skill.

We teach Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini, along with Microsoft Copilot for organizations on Microsoft 365. As new tools prove themselves, we add them.

Use the one that fits your tasks and devices. In the Find Your Tool session, you try Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini head-to-head on your own tasks, so you choose with evidence. Your Technologist recommends the tool that suits your work, since we have no product to push and take no fees or commissions from the AI companies whose tools we use.

Your information belongs to you, which is one of the five promises of the HumanisNG Standard. You can also read our Privacy Policy. With the AI tools themselves, we teach you what never to share and how to check an answer before you rely on it.

You put it to work in the first hour. In every session, you open the AI tool of your choice on your own device and use it on a task that matters to you. The tool stays on your device afterward, ready for practice.

Questions About Classes and Course Options

Questions about our courses come down to how they run, which device they use, who teaches them, and whether they can be taken virtually.

Do I need to know anything about computers first?

No. Our AI courses are built for non-technical adults, and the first session, a hands-on introduction to AI basics, begins with opening the AI tool on your device. The Technologist starts wherever you are.

Yes. We believe AI skills can be learned, and they are learned best with someone patient beside you. Your Technologist begins with what you already know, you set the pace, and each session adapts to your vision, hearing, and mobility needs.

Yes. Every session happens on your device, set up the way you already use it. In our in-home AI courses, your Technologist works with you on that device in your home over four weekly sessions of about an hour each.

Yes. Every Technologist is vetted and background-checked, with no exceptions, and completes HumanisNG training before their first session. A vetted human accountable by name is also part of the HumanisNG Standard.

Yes. Technologists are patient, in-person teachers who sit beside you, and many come from education backgrounds. Character, patience, and trust are paramount in every Technologist and in everyone who works at HumanisNG.

Yes. In our in-home AI course, learning to spot a scam and knowing what never to share can be your first task. Your Technologist teaches it as a practical skill, at the pace you set, and we never sell fear.

If desired, in certain circumstances, we can teach you virtually. Programs for organizations run in person or virtually.

Pricing and Enrollment Questions

Before an intro call, most people want to know how pricing works and where we teach.

How much do AI classes cost?

The cost depends on the format, the group size, and the scope. In-home 1-on-1 sessions, small group workshops, and programs for organizations are priced differently. We’ll walk you through it on your intro call.

HumanisNG teaches AI literacy classes in Miami-Dade County, including Sunny Isles Beach, Aventura, Bal Harbour, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, and Miami Beach, and in Broward and Palm Beach Counties, including Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, Pompano Beach, Boca Raton, and Deerfield Beach. We also teach in Manhattan, with seasonal Hamptons availability by inquiry. Each of these three areas offers in-home 1-on-1 sessions, small group workshops, and AI training programs for organizations.

Questions From Organizations

Leaders weighing AI training for their organization ask most about timing, confidential documents, and what executives do in a program.

How long does AI training take for a firm of thirty people?

Most of our AI training for organizations runs two sessions of three hours each, for groups of up to about twenty. For a firm of thirty, we agree on the groups during the scoping call, and the first session usually happens a few weeks later.

That depends on the AI services your organization has approved, and those are the services we train your people on. Everyone learns to use AI tools responsibly as a habit, so each person knows which documents may go into a tool and which never leave the building.

Executives in our programs put generative AI tools to work on real matters in their own organization, starting in the first session with live work such as a memo, a client letter, or data analysis. Each program also covers how AI tools work, how to write clear, specific prompts, where those tools fit into their work, and what to do Monday morning.
